Benromach Chateau Cissac Wood Finish 2009

Description

Benromach Chateau Cissac 2009 is a limited edition whiskey resulting from a collaboration between the Benromach and Cissac from Bordeaux. This single malt has been aged in first-fill bourbon then finished in Chateau Cissac wine casks from the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux.  The aroma is rich with melon and red apple, orange zest and present it develops into a floral touch. Also notes of gentle influences of charcoal. In the mouth opens it with whiskey pepper influences. Also, vanilla and milk chocolate balanced by citrus notes.
